Kate’s career in event planning, catering and wine has spanned the globe. Beginning in the San Francisco Bay Area, she has planned events across the country ranging from intimate gatherings to PGA golf tournaments. After spending a year in France studying and working in the wine industry, Kate recently returned to the US and to events. Anchored by her passion for food and wine, Kate brings to Art of Catering a dedication to detail and flawless execution, as well as a professional approach to hospitality and each client’s needs.

James Young | Operations Manager
With an Occupational Associates Degree in Culinary Arts, James cooked with Art of Catering in 2004 as one of its select talented young chefs. In 2007 James became Art of Catering’s full-time Operations Manager and brought with him his powerful and unique ability as a master organizer as it related to special events and fine food. His fresh look, natural talents and can-do approach have dramatically added to the efficiency and professionalism of Art of Catering.

Christopher Dahl | Culinary Team Lead
Working up the culinary ladder by training in restaurants and attending the Scottsdale Culinary Institute, Christopher attained his degree at Le Cordon Bleu. Seeking to gain a more diverse culinary experience he moved to Napa Valley, moved to Napa Valley, where he worked with the special events team at the C.I.A. Greystone in St. Helena. He later became the Sous Chef of the Bayleaf Restaurant and cooked at the James Beard House in New York City. Christopher’s leadership skills and appetite for responsibility, coupled with an exceptional palate will keep him flawlessly in control of the kitchen, the culinary team and your event.
