Food & Wine

“Art of Catering is indeed what the name implies. An art form taken to its highest level. Oregon Pinot Camp was introduced to AOC and Larry Grimes and company five years ago. Our dinners, for 375-400 guests are held outside, under a canopy, in various winery locations in the Willamette Valley. Everything must be brought in. We entertain wine experts from some of the finest restaurants in the country. Not an easy audience to impress. The reviews have always been outstanding.

From our perspective, AOC is simply the best. They make our job easy. They work with you to develop a menu that fits not just your budget, but more importantly, your needs. They are not about chef ego, but rather about excellence. With  a wine-focused event, it is critical that the food be wine-friendly and that the pairings work. Every year Larry comes up with menus that are not only delicious, but beautiful as well. Presentation is always spectacular.

Their staff is without equal. Professional and polished, they present a seated audience with multiple courses seamlessly. They are there when you want and need them and unobtrusive when necessary. The best part is at the end of the evening when they pack up and depart without leaving a footprint.”
Sue Horstmann, Executive Director Oregon Pinot Camp

“Thank you very much for the wonderful harvest luncheon you and your staff prepared for our guests. You really presented us with a creative and delicious bounty of memorable dishes. Everyone really enjoyed the meal and the wonderful service.”

“A huge thanks to Art of Catering for a WONDERFUL dinner. Everyone is still raving about it and the pairings were perfect. The plates came back clean; in fact I think a few were licked clean! I always enjoy watching the culinary genius at work with Larry and his crew. We all appreciated your commitment to perfection…everything was spotless when it ended.”
